In collective worship, we spent some time yesterday reflecting on what we have learned about truthfulness and how we are going to think about this value in our daily lives. The pupils worked together in mixed-age groups, sharing their thoughts. Here are some of them:

• 'Truthfulness is about sticking up for people you know are right'
• 'Sometimes we have to seek the truth and stand by it'
• 'You get more respect when you tell the truth'
• 'I’m going to try to think about the consequences before I lie'

The discussions were really thoughtful and pupils were keen to express their ideas. It was lovely to have Mrs Hills, one of our foundation governors, here to share our first attempt at mixed-aged collective worship too.
