James Campbell Author Visit

We asked Class 3 to review James' visit today, which everyone thoroughly enjoyed!

"On Wednesday 7th February, comedy writer James Campbell (the author of the jam-packed best-selling Boyface) visited Orford School. All of the children loved to hear his hilarious jokes and stories but to the children's disappointment they did not hear the whole book but at least he made lots of ideas real such as magnetic bananas and marmalade cows. James Campbell was well liked in Orford School and we hope he will come again." Leo

"On Wednesday 7th February 2018 a writer, comedian and extraordinary author came in to Orford School planning on telling us jokes and things about his incredibly high quality books. His name was James Campbell (the author of the best-selling creatively wacky Boyface books). Despite the fact he occasionally went off topic it was one of the best school visits I have ever had, it was amazing! " Lola

"Wednesday 7th February the optimisitic author James Campbell (who writes the remarkable books of Boyface) visited Orford CEVA Primary School in Suffolk. He introduced himself in witty ways which made teachers and students alike laugh out loud and this continued throughout his visit. Although some might say it was disappointing when we discovered we weren't going to do any writing in that session, we had a pleasant visit and were delighted and surprised when he shared his new book that's not even out yet called Funny Life of Pets." Lexie

"James Campbell (a witty, enthusiastic writer) came to our school on 7th February 2018. He was exceedingly funny as a result it led to the whole of classes 2 and 3 erupting with laughter. Furthermore, this incredibly clever writer  also read one of his newest books (The Funny Life of Pets) even though it was complicated to read and follow." Archie L

"On Wednesday 7th February 2018, James Campbell (the witty author of the of the best-selling Boyface books) visited Orford School for a workshop about his books. Class 3 contributed with Class 2 to and shared our ideas while Class 1 had their own workshop. Although James usually went off topic with jokes, it would seem that the whole room was full of laughter every time he told one. He read part of his first Boyface book and a fragment of the new book that will be out in June, The Funny Life of Pets." Edward
